Alder Wood Bistro

Worth visiting!

Untitled

This is one of the best new restaurants in Sequim. They use fresh,
seasonal, local produce. And their apple pie and upside down cheesecake is worth going for just for dessert.

Home

Worth visiting!

My childhood home..

I grew up in a little house just north of the University Village in Seattle, a tiny red house built in 1910. Four years ago, I was driving by the house and noticed it was for sale. So I called the realtor to make an appointment to see the house. My goodness.. 45 years hadn’t changed a lot. The living room, kitchen and dining room had been changed some. But the basement looked EXACTLY the same. And the bathroom even had the same green bathtub that was thre when I was a kid. What really shocked me was that they were selling a 90 year old 700 sq ft house for $260,000!!! We could barely get that for our four bedroom, four bathroom 3600 sq ft house (with two kitchens) in Lynnwood!!!

So, I can it’s both true and untrue, that you can go home again…

5 Spot

Worth visiting!

Shirley Temples when I was a kid

In the early 60’s my dad knew the guy who owned the 5 spot, so he would take us there for Shirley Temples with extra cherries…

Honolulu

Worth visiting!

It's worth visiting, at least so you can say you've been there.

Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor are worth it alone. Waikiki is fun, the huge hotels. But Honolulu is like any other large city in the US… crowded…

So visit, and then go to the airport and take a wiki-wiki bus to Hawaiian airlines that can whisk you to Kona or Maui…

Heaven

Worth visiting!

A place, Time, space that is impossible to describe

From an out of body experience I had when my daughter died, to
near death experiences of my own, I have crossover to heaven several times. It’s where I long to go again. But I know that is the graduation gift of all time when I finish my education
in this place we call life.

This is Paradise

I love just outside of the small town of Sequim, considered to
be the lavender capital of North America and the banana belt of
Washington state. It’s gorgeous here, and after living in the
Seattle/Everett area for most of my life, we’ve have enjoyed the past 4 years that we’ve lived here.

Washington State

Worth visiting!

I live in Washington State

I was born here, and have lived her for 54 years. I can’t think
of any place else I’d like to live, except for maybe Hawaii…
