    Alder Wood Bistro

    Worth visiting!

    Untitled  — 1 year ago

This is one of the best new restaurants in Sequim. They use fresh,
seasonal, local produce. And their apple pie and upside down cheesecake is worth going for just for dessert.

    Home

    Worth visiting!

My childhood home..  — 2 years ago

I grew up in a little house just north of the University Village in Seattle, a tiny red house built in 1910. Four years ago, I was driving by the house and noticed it was for sale. So I called the realtor to make an appointment to see the house. My goodness.. 45 years hadn’t changed a lot. The living room, kitchen and dining room had been changed some. But the basement looked EXACTLY the same. And the bathroom even had the same green bathtub that was thre when I was a kid. What really shocked me was that they were selling a 90 year old 700 sq ft house for $260,000!!! We could barely get that for our four bedroom, four bathroom 3600 sq ft house (with two kitchens) in Lynnwood!!!

So, I can it’s both true and untrue, that you can go home again…

    5 Spot

    Worth visiting!

Shirley Temples when I was a kid  — 2 years ago

In the early 60’s my dad knew the guy who owned the 5 spot, so he would take us there for Shirley Temples with extra cherries…
