Went with 3 friends in Jan 2004. Cold and wet, but beautiful and romantic. If you ever want to see the louvre without a 2 hour line, winter is the time to go. Slow tourist season. Food is great, and the people are very helpful if you make a sincere attempt at French. Definitely a must-travel-to country.

Ok place to live, but nothing exciting and nothing to do (especially under 21). Its the desert, after all. Worth a drive through maybe, but looks like any other “normal” suburb

In my 19 years of existence, I have found Santa Monica to be my favorite escape from life. It is cheap (1 tank of gas from Vegas) but worlds apart. I grew up here, and still come back every now and then. The shopping is plentiful, and the dining is exquisite. At night, the promenade lights up with performers, radiant people, and…lights. The beach is a beautiful area to hang out with friends, swim in the ocean or enjoy some time alone.

I love landscapes of all climates…ironic that the 4 times I went here were all in the dark. Drive slower, its really dark! Nice camping spots, set up fires and had a good time with friends. Also a nice place to go with your significant other, because the stars are beautiful and bright without the light pollution from Las Vegas. When the moon is out, you can see your surrounds very clearly, but the stars are washed out.

This is a small town, but it is filled with southwestern accents. The red rock surrounding this area is breathtaking. The lodging is quite comfortable, and I really enjoyed the cuisine.

I was born here but moved to the US when I turned 4. From what I remember, the city used to be more decrepid, but the pictures I have seen say otherwise. That and my memory is from the late 80s. I may be subjective when saying this city is worth visiting, but I would find it interesting to see once again.

But from what I remember, Zion is a smashing place to vacation. It has a really long tunnel, and great lodging. But, Im sure you know by now, Zion is famous for its nature. The rivers are chilly, but fun to play in and let the current carry you. And the hikes are great, including the respected Subway hike.

I used to live in this city between 1995-1999. Been back a couple of times, wish I could go more. Always loved the monsoon season, some of the most beautiful lightning in the world. Sunrise is also a gorgeous in the desert. Not to mention some great hikes and Mt Lemmon.
