    Robert Luis Stevenson

    Worth visiting!

One of the top rated highschools in the country. RLS’s pirates are hard working and scholastically adept. I have never been to such a competitive highschool. Between the kids cramming 5+ AP and honors classes and having a fantastic athletic program, stevenson is a prestigious school. As a result it is very liberal.
The cafeteria food is great (thought everyone there complains…the grass is always greener). Half of the student body boards and you will find students from all over the world. The school attracts a lot of asians.
The teachers are always willing to help and there is no uniform. The school has its own radio station.
The campus is nicer than most colleges. The relatively new student center is an amazingly nice place to relax, socialize, or do homework between classes.

    Santa Catalina School

    Worth visiting!

Attended this school for 9 years. The campus is very nice. Small but nice.
K-8 is co-ed but the highschool is girls only. It’s also important to note that 9-12 is partially a boarding school. The lower school and upper school are technically connected but the only shared facilities are the gym, pool, library, and performing arts center.
The rules for the girls are strict and it is run by nuns. There is a required uniform for all grades.
The girl-guy ratio for the lower/middle school is unbalanced. There’s about 3 girls to every one guy. My grade had 8 boys and 23 girls.
Tuition is incredibly high but this school produces some extremely intelligent people.

    Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

    Worth visiting!

One of the world’s most famous racetracks.
My dad has raced here countless times back in the day and I have been to laguna seca about a dozen times – I live not too far from it. There’s everything from formula one, to motocross, moto gp, a shooting range, downhill mountain biking, bmx, to skip barber’s racing class. Due to its dustiness and variations of altitude, it’s a bit of a pain to walk around.
