I know a small town like Tallapoosa, GA is not exactly a tourist attraction but it was the home of my grandfather and both his parents and I think grandparents are buried there. I am named for my great-grandmother and would really like to see where he lived and where she’s buried.

It’s hard to describe the Cine because they are much more than a movie house. Sure they show foreign and independent films but they also have so many other events. Art classes, story telling events, and film discussions are just some of the events going on there. I’ve seen films that range from Sean Penn’s In the Wild to Buster Keaton’s Steamboat Bill Jr (with live music no less). Plus they serve beer and wine. It’s been my favorite place in town for the past year.

I love this place. It’s like a flea market without all the dirt and grime. I always enjoy browsing the booths and always find something to make me smile.
