I agree with other peoples’ entries that going to Toledo is going somewhere where time stood still. It is definitely on my list of must-see places. The highlight for me was seeing El Greco’s ‘Burial of Count Orgaz’ at the Church of Santo Tome.
over 7 years agoPlaza Mayor is incredible. We went there one balmy evening and had a pitcher of sangria, which, when you’re only 17, makes you feel like you’re the coolest person on earth!
over 7 years agoi was only 17 when i went, but my teacher who had lived in Madrid insisted that we go, and i’m so glad she did!
