This is such an amazing place. I couldn’t believe all the authentic buildings and painstakingly created reproductions, right down to replicating the very bottles used in Thomas Edison’s workshop. The staff were incredible. They were knowledgeable and helpful and the actors were great. I can’t believe everyone I never heard of it until I happened to be traveling to the area. Def. worth visiting. Def. want to return ASAP.
over 2 years agoGreat, Great Museum. Like all three or the Henry Ford attractions in Dearborn, you just won’t have enough time to see everything in one day and will be likely impressed by the collection. I’d try spending at least 3 full days or maybe 4 across all the attractions. It may be worth it to get a membership depending on your party and what you want to do.
I thought it was pricey but its really well done, making it worth the $.
This was a really nice city to walk around during the day (although I avoided the areas that were described to me as less safe). The Presidential Ford museum was really interesting.
