This won’t be too hard; in fact, it’s one of the easiest places on the list so far. After my friend comes back from Washington, D.C. (on my list too. *envious) we’ll go running along the beach and wander around the pier, hopefully. We’ll see how that goes.

I’ve been there multiple times. Sure, it seems like the same thing every time, but it’s still my favorite theme park. :) You can’t go wrong, especially where kids are concerned. I’d like to visit to see what they’ve got going on for the 50th anniversary celebration. It’s getting more and more expensive, though. There are websites that are dedicated to tips for visiting Disneyland the cheap way; those sites are worth a visit.

Very, very different from the U.S. Exotic enough to make you realize you’re really in the Philippines, but still urban enough for comfort.

You can find some good bargains there. :p Very humid, but it’s nicer at night. Tons of mosquitoes, however. Bring some protection against them and the sun. Been there three times. Nice for a change of scenery, but I’m not sure I’d like to live there permanently.

but exciting enough for the kids as well, especially the MGM theme park, Circus Circus, and the Caesars Palace shopping, among other places. The nightlife and lights are amazing. Be sure to see the overhead neon lights show – I forget where exactly it is, somewhere near Fremont and the California Hotel and the Golden Nugget. Someone correct me if they know.

from the top. I watched an eclipse from the balcony, but I didn’t get to go inside. Currently, it’s under renovation. I hope to go visit when it’s done.

is the only place I went while I was there, though. I’ve been there two or three times, just not really to go sightseeing. I’d like to go on an official trip sometime. But at least the airport and hotel were really nice.
