Just revisited. It was the BEST travel experience I have ever had. Remind me to write more later and upload pictures.

Fun place. :D It’s better if you understand history really well, but the view and gardens are enough. I’m going again soon.

Great place to go, though I can’t say that the beach is very good. Nice restaurants and shops and attractions, however, so that doesn’t matter as much.

I had to observe some fish. My favorite was the ‘Dory and Nemo’ tank – I sat there for a while, and every kid that walked by started shouting, “It’s Dory! And Nemo!” from Finding Nemo. Expensive to get in, but there are discounted tickets at Costco, and on their website there are special discounts for Long Beach residents, as well.

It was great fun, even though I had to be “observing” the animals. Truthfully, many of them just lie still or they pace around or hide, so it wasn’t that hard. I have great pictures, but I have to upload them. Got a fantastic shot of the tiger with the zoom on my camera – it looks like it’s looking straight at you. Great place to go with some kids, I guess.

gorgeous lake, and SNOW! Nice place to see snow, if you haven’t seen it before in California. Fun, too. I took a lot of trips to the Alpine Slide thing. Built a cruddy snowman, but it was still satisfactory…

A little bit quaint in some places. I’ll be going back, probably.

I didn’t get to pet the dolphin but all my cousins did, and I didn’t win a big stuffed Shamu like my other cousin did, and I was very little so I cried. :( (That was just too much to deal with in a day.)

But it was still really fun. I think I learned some facts and such, too. I just have to remember what they are.

Ooo, it was fun. Sea World and the zoo and everything. The beach and the view, too. I’d love to go back.

and I almost forgot that I’ve been there, but I remember it was fun nonetheless. I don’t think I did very much sightseeing, or none that I can remember anyway, but I remember the wharf and the cable cars and the giant hills and the bridge of course. Lovely place to see. I’d like to go back, I’ve heard it’s the best city for running (uphill, apparently).
