Take a flashlight…the electricity goes out…

The pizza at all hours of the night is FANTASTIC! The food was really good. Being a vegetarian is very difficult when traveling, but this was great! I had to eat mostly at the buffet, but hey! They had a crepe bar! I loved the Flamenco Especiale…it was a pepto-bismol looking beverage, but it was tasty. The beach was gorgeous. the pools were beautiful. Get up early to snag a seat in the shade, and wear a ton of sunscreen! The place is boiling in July.

Greenbrier West Elementary housed some of the cruelest sixth graders in existence. Luckily, I only had to go there for a little over one semester before we moved. A cracked tailbone and many years of self-hatred later, I have finally discovered that the only “cow”ness about me would have been within the word “coward.” You kids ought to be ashamed! Especially you, George, wherever you may be!

I loved Biloxi! It was great to play in the casinos, as long as I wasn’t losing, of course! The only disturbing thing was finding out that my boyfriend purchased a Confederate Flag magnet…hmmm….

John Campbell Folk Art School anyone? I ahve studied the fine arts of Canning (Pickles, Jams, Relishes, etc.), Batik Fabric Dyeing, and Book Arts. The food there is to die for! Prepare to gain two pounds!

Whew! I have done the Upper and the Lower New River. I am still too chicken to do the Gorge…I had SO much fun on the river. I had a great guide. I also went in June…the afternoons were still a little cold…BRRR!!!

I LOVED London! Great night life, and great things to see! I still had a cold…I visited a music store and played piano. I visited an adult toy store…giggled…and ran away! And, I admit it…I ate at Pizza Hut!

I played with puppies! The people told me to wash afterwards, as the puppies may have fleas and are dirty. Yeah, when are puppies clean?!

Ohmigosh! I saw Mormons here going door to door just like in the US! Who knew?!

It was flooding! The lion carving was serene and beautiful! Wagner’s home and collection of antiquated instruments was worth the entire trip. Have you seen a sacbut, hmmm???

Yummy! I loved the architecture and the history! We had a really great guy traveling with us who knew something about everything. Yea! The glasss, the glass, the glass….
