Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

If you’re a vegetarian, don’t go. Or consider taking a leave of absence from vegetarianism … simply because Argentina has the best steak in the world (forget about Kobe).

If you can cough up the $ try to stay at Hotel Explore in the Atacama desert or Patagonia. Ultimate active travel in luxury!

A tip I have about this place

off the beaten track this island had only 2 resorts when I went several years ago. The Cottage Colony Resort was small, personal and one of the most relaxing places I ever stayed at: alternating scuba diving with temple visits on the mainland, as well as deep sea fishing, and eating the catch-of-the-day in the restaurant that night.
Salsa lessons from the bar tender, siesta in the hammock and socializing with the other guests…

Brazil

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Don’t try to see too much in one trip: stick to a region, like Sao Paulo, Iguazu Falls & beaches around Sao Paulo state. Or Bahia and Lencois. Or Manaus and the Amazon. Or Olinda/Recife and Fernando de Noronha.
Want to visit Brazil during carnaval? Consider going north to either Salvador de Bahia or Olinda. The further north you go, the more you actually ‘participate’ in the festivities.
Go SAMBA!

La Ventana

Worth visiting!

Kite surfing destination

When the wind is blowing this is a great spot to learn and perfect your tricks. A small town attracting mainly (kite & wind) surfers, with just enough places to eat so you won’t get bored for a week.
Many surfers have bought their own lot there and are building their second home in this Baja surf spot.

no biggie in the Mexican scheme of things, but a nice lunch stop ..
