My brother taught English over in Japan for three years … he had a wonderful time and took some great pictures. It really is a beautiful Country by all accounts (especially out in some of the traditional settlements). I never got a chance to go over and visit my bro there, which was a shame – but one day my dream of visiting will be realised!

I’d love to come see the discrete places away from the built-up areas here … out in the middle of nowhere. Maybe sneak around a few Cocaine Plantations until I was spotted and see how long I could last for running like a bat outta hell through the crops and other undergrowth.

To be honest, I wouldn’t last long – but that woulda be a helluva thing to try! :)

Went here back in ‘98. Was over there for a month and saw a lot of the country. Reykjavík is a beautiful city and I was very lucky with the weather. There’s a strange mix of Icelandic culture/design crossed with a heavy American influence.

Did an on-foot crossing of the Vatnajökull Ice Cap – 100 miles of ice from Skaftafell to Kverkfjöll … a week of nothing but absolute white … INCREDIBLE! Although was dangerous as hell coming off over the North edge at Kverkfjöll – death drops galore with all the crevices and gale-force winds. We even stunned a load of the crazy locals doing that. Hardcore.
