Such a pretty place! But cold in the winter, hot in the summer. I should know, I was stranded there for a year hehe. I’m one of those pussycat girls that likes to curl up by the fireplace when the temperature drops under 50F =P Imagine how Miserable I was at freezing temperatures half the year!
What is with this place?? Winter lasts forever!

over 3 years agoCold, wet, windy…ugh. Not to mention I went there with my roommate and found out that most of his friends thought I was some California wierdo or just plain hated me.
Nothing like meeting his now-overweight neighbor to which he confessed an unrequited love for. I believe she felt the same, for she treated my like something she’d found stuck to the bottom of her shoe.
So, yea. Illinois. It can burn in hell.
