I went to my first NFL game here. I don’t remember the year but it was Steelers vs. Oilers and Eric Campbell and Terry Bradshaw both played in that game. Wow. I remember it like it was yesterday. I miss Houston having the personality it did back then. I miss the NFL being what it was too. Oh well…...

Diedrich is a great cup of coffe without the b.s. of you know where. The Diedrich on Montrose is really the only one I like, even though the Westheimer one is closer to me.

I do miss the rude comments I used to get when I first went though. They seem nicer now. My first venture into the place, I was looking at the menu trying to decide what to get when the nice girl behind the counter said “Uh hey, you know I am right here so if you tell me what you want then I can make it instead of just standing here”. That was the second I fell in love with the place.
