This is just a place everyone goes to because it’s trendy to do so.
Poor service, overcrowded pedestrian district (imagine an overcrowded rock concert with occasional cars and tourist trains coming through).
The place is famous for its overpriced night clubs, but the sea is terrible.

Would recommend for a single night out, but under no circumstance for a proper holiday.

I’d recommend Lovran to people who want to relax and get away from the life too urban.
It’s a cosy place which has about everything for a nifty vacation – pubs, caffés, good restaurants, crystal-clear sea.
If, perchance, you get bored – you can go to Opatija or Rijeka – it’s just 30 minutes of driving to there (be it by public transportation or your car)

It is just a typical touristic destination – many classy hotels, shops and caffés as far as eye can see…
If things like these are of your interest – you’ll have great time there.
...just check the weather forecast before you go as it might occur that you get two weeks of rain in August…

Insanely cheep beer, though.

I’ve been there several years ago and it was just plain boring.
It’s one of them standard seaside places where you’ve got one main streets (with street-salesmen, freaks, bars and such) and two secondary streets with restourants and banks.
All the bars insist on turbo folk “music” in the evening (a mix of Turkish/Bulgarian/Greek/Serbian “music”), except for two techno ones and two neutral/pop-ones.
Unfortunately sitting in them pop bars isn’t very pleasant since the music is so loud to overstrong the turbo-folk coming from the bars next to them.
The town is kinda pretty during the day, but it’s pain in the buttox after 8pm…

Paris is just too beautiful to be true!
If you’re planning to visit Paris, you won’t be able to see even the highlights in a week! Therefore, make a good plan before going there!

A friendly tip: Plan at least 6 hours for Louvre-tour – trust me, even if you’re not “that fond of arts” you’ll enjoy yourself beyond your belief in there, and it’s just HUGE so walking from the one end to another itself takes about half an hour…

Also, prices are pretty steep, so bring extra savings ;)

Not too big, therefore cosy and warm, and simply beautiful.
Felt so good being there, though it kinda bothered me that I heard my mother tongue more often than German/Austrian in the streets…

München is a beautiful city but not one that will leave your jaws constantly open.
A lot to see, a lot to drink&eat, but no nightlife at all.
If you’re going to be near München be sure to spend a day or two in it since you’re not going to regret it!

It’s just a city too beautiful.
People are very friendly as well…

If you ever come to Serbia, you MUST see Novi Sad!

I went there to relax, yet I didn’t quite.
The place is just too crowded and was just… Boring and expensive for what it offered.
Though, you can buy furs for insanely cheap prices…
