The “old city”, as they call it, is unique and worth visiting. Try finding your way out of there! And some of the architecture is interesting. I would go back if only for the memories, but to an average tourist, the sites would be far and few in between. Yet it’s an interesting place and from what I remember the people are warm. And the food is good!
over 4 years agoLived there for 2 years and have been back 5 times. I want to go back – always! And when I am there I never want to leave. I miss the wide streets, the ice-cream, the bread, and the snow.
over 4 years agoThis city is French to the core. The architecture is beautiful, and some places are unique, like a wall which depicts the history of the city. The city is more European than North-American with cobble-stone streets and buildings’ entrances on a diagonal. Very charming place. It helps if you speak, or try to speak French.
