Playa Blanca is situated on the south side of Lanzarote and has become one of the largest tourist area on the island. As a result you will find a wide range of hotels, restaurants, bars and shops. Its beauty, peaceful and pleasant spot makes the ideal place for the whole family to relax in.

Do not miss the spectacular beaches of Papagayo, a network of fine white sandy coves. Although they can be reached on foot or by bike, a car would be recommended since it’s a long trek.

Once was the ancient capital of Lanzarote and declared an architecturally historic artistic site in the 1980´s. Besides stands out the outdoor market taking place every Sunday morning that it´s worth visiting. Don´t miss on top of Guanapay volcano the old castle of Santa Barbara.

I love Lanzarote. I´ve been there many times already but always want to return as in every visit I discover a new surprising place. Do not miss Timanfaya National park, Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Río and Cueva de los Verdes, enjoy its spectacular beaches such as Papagayo and Famara, visit the fishing villages and taste the local food and wines. It is very easy to enjoy your holidays in a place like this.
