Moaning Cavern

Worth visiting!

Claustrophobic

It was during the heat of the day-100+ degrees, and humid-we had to crouch down to enter the cave down steps with rock all around-- people in front and people behind…it just felt oppressive-like I was being smothered. I had to turn around and go back.

I have been in caves before, but this really got to me. I will have to go back when it is cooler I think and be at the end of the line.

Art Director

My step father, Oronzo Abbatecola, was the art director of the Museum back in the 1970’s. Some of the minitures on display he created. He also taught art courses at the Rosicrucian University that took place during the summer months. That is how my mother and he met.

Angel Fire

Worth visiting!

The Angle Fire Free Trip

I was sitting in the parking lot of Costco the day before Christmas 2006 writing about how I wanted to go back to Angel Fire in the winter time. Using the methods from Law of Attraction, Hiring the Heavens, The Secret. I had just put on my list—a frugal travel agent. Suddenly a man stuck his hand through the open window (this was in California) and said “Here!” In his hand was a $10.00 Starbucks gift card. I just had to laugh out loud with joy…it was like an affirmation that the cosmos was being generous. The day AFTER Christmas I get a phone call from the Angel Fire Resort offering me a free trip for two to check thier lots for sale. So Mom and I left two weeks later with everything paid for except the Airporter to SFO. It was a wonderful trip and it snowed while we were there! And the art was fantastic! I am in such gratitute for my Angel Committee with the Frugal Travel Agent. Still looking for land near Taos. It is coming soon…I can just feel it. I am putting on my dancing shoes….Now where did I put my shawl?

Night Rain Song

A background beat of distant,
constant roll of wave against reef;
Gentle drum of plink, plong on leaf, rock
and tin roof pinging;
Melodies of a myriad of angel tears of joy…
Increasing to a torrent of emotions raging.
In the full moon light
dimmed by low misty clouds
illuminating the mountain crags of the next ridge
with mystical grays—
the Night Song delights.
A crescendo of millions of exploding
Drops upon the earth becoming
A deafening kettle drum
Overpowering individual sounds,
Building the electrifying energy…
Then without warning the music ceases.
An effective pause.
Pling, Pling, Pling, Plong, Plong, Plop
Plink, Plink, Ping, Ping, Pink, Pop, Pip,
Bring, Brink, Plop, Thud, Thud, Thud,
Thursh, Throash, Ping, Pling,
Thrummmmmmmmrooooaaarrrrrr….
Through out the night the rain song repeats the chorus,
A coda hear and there.
The moon goes to bed and still I listen
To God’s overture.
In the early dawns light
the first and second chair
Violin rubbings of cricket legs join in
Just before the “Whoop Whoop” trombones of the barking pigeons,
The softly flapping bats wings
Like a brush upon the cymbal offers a gentle
Contrast to the birds raucous chorus
And suddenly night becomes day
And before my ears
The grey dawn
Offering a promise of
Blue Sky Songs.

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

It is best to snorkle here in the morning…the earliest boats are best as the water is clearer and more fish to see.

Namale Resort And Spa

Worth visiting!

How this place changed my life

Bula! The most loving people in the world live in Fiji. At Namale you are pampered and loved. The scent of flowers waif through the palm trees. The parrots are noisily eating the red fruit along the paths. I went to a Tony Robbins Event called Life Mastery there taught by Scott Harris. My health is improving every day and I have more vitality than ever before. The ocean is filled with beautiful tropical fish. And the smiles of the native Fijian people are for real…I have been to Fij three times and plan to live at least four month a year there.
