with my Daughter and Best friend Berta. It is a beautiful building and we had a great time. We had dinner just a block away at the olde Spaghetti factory and left the car there then just walked to the theater. Unfortunate they closed the my fav restaurant now :(

has decided that Thayne, WY would be a great place to have our next multi-generational family reunion.
None of us are from there or anything but my Gypsy Aunt & Uncle just put a trailer on some land they bought up there. So now people from 5 different states get to trek out that way and stay in a motel.

Again, this year, one of the cousins will have a newborn baby to deal with. My Aunt never had kids so I really don’t think she fully gets what it’s like to travel with a tiny baby.

We have been here a few days.
Our family has gone to a Nationals Baseball game, Bull Run which was the first battle of the of the Civil War at Manasses, Kings Dominion Amusement Park and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Today we just played in the pool. Mommy needed a nap…badly.

So far we plan on
Going with my cousin and his family
to hang at their house in Centre Ville,
go see a ball game,
go to Kings Dominion amusement park.

The Nutty Belgium and the little Nuttellas will be driving up to DC from NC. Then flying to Belgium from their. ( I guess the tickets are cheaper, see I said they are nutty) so we will all see the Spy museum together.

That still leaves 9 days to do the Touristy thing.

Jennalicious has me penciled in for Karaoke at some wacky place.
I hope I get to meet the DC mermaid and ride in the little red zoom car :)

See as much as I possibly can in two weeks!

I have been staying away from Krispy Kreme donuts for fear that I would like them too much. Well from what Mc SRM (aka Bill) and The Nutty Belgian tell me Randy’s Donuts are way better.

I have no reason to doubt them.

Even though it was just a raised glazed donut, and not dipped in chocolate(my fav) it melted in my mouth.

They are having the Grand Opening of the new hotel Palazzo which will be an extension of the Venetian. This week-end.
I met McOscar when I was in Vegas sitting at the coffee shop on my laptop. He lives in CA. We have kept in touch and he has invited me to a few events where he interviews celebs but they are always on school nights when I can’t go.
This time McSmarty and I get to be behind the scenes VIP’s with press passes. When he called me he was already in Vegas I could hear his buddy McCaryGrant say I could stay in his room. He did not get a kiss on the cheek when I met him. He touched my ear which is a “no no” yuck :P
I think my little red dress needs to get out and have some more fun :D
Ps, We are leaving the kids at home this time.

I brought my friend Berta with me and her friend of 10 yrs Luz who I met for the 1st time.
Maureen was friends with my Nonna. I predecorated a scrapbook with festive party stickers so all she had to do is take all the photos that everyone was taking that weekend(there were quite a few of us) and put them in the album. She asked her one daughter to her left to do it for her. I know that my Nonna and my f-i-l really enjoyed looking at their albums over and over all the time. They really don’t want any ‘stuff’.
Her son’s my little Aunt’s Honey, standing behind her. We call him Santa Don. He loves to spoil my kids, his Mom, all his Sisters ,& my Little Aunt. I say he has this Harem of women around him. I think he likes it that way. It’s sweet.
We wanted to go dancing later that night but there was a wedding reception in the nightclub that was moved indoors due to all the rain. We asked the customer desk(in most hotels it’s called concierge) where we could go. He said that Pachenga had 7 bars and two nightclubs. We went to the one called Silk I told him that we would not spend our hard earned $ gambling there ;) We had one of my twin boy cousins drive us there. We took photos to show the other twin what a fun time he missed :P

Berta and I are going to go all “Thelma & Louise” this weekend at the Pala Casino Spa and Resort We are also bringing along her newly divorced girlfriend who has not any fun in ages. She ain’t Brad Pitt but we will let her come anyway ;)
