Why I recommend this place to locals
This is a wonderful place to raise children. Lots of families, not so much crime, fantastic schools. There is culture and art, history and politics and is 1.5 hours out of Houston if you need a big city fix or some good nighttime fun (that isn’t beer bust) every so often, like I do.
