Best vacation ever! Excited to go back again next year...
Absolutely fantastic vacation! Loved it, went Feb 27-March 6, 2007. Odd time, off season, but the weather was decent, if not getting warm (low 70s) in March. The city is fun, the hotel I stayed at was a great location, by shopping and food, close to the subway to the airport! Long walks everywhere, but oh what fun those houses and streets are! I recommend this place to everyone, and can help give advice about awesome places to visit, and also, don’t forget to go on a wine tour! Ours was so good, the host was funny and very knowledgeable! It was a great time. And the northern cities….also what fun! Anyway, I would be happy to help you with ideas for places to stay, whether or not you should rent a car (not needed if staying in San Fran the city), and how walking is the best way to get anywhere!
