Sacred Valley, Cusco Region

It is a really beautiful, peacefull valley!

The whole day trip was wonderful, the people, the scenery, the ruins, the little animals and the shepperds, even the few vendors trying to sell their wares there were really nice. I will go back. The food was really good too.

Puno, Peru

Puno

I was there when I was 15. Long time ago. Saw the Uro Indians, they live on islands man made, made with totora grass, on lake Titicaca. They even had a church, school and houses on top of those islands. Interesting! I would like to go back in February to witness the Virgen de la Candelaria party. Amazing from what I hear. People come from all over the dance for the Virgen.

Cusco Region, Peru

Cuzco is really worth visiting!

A very beautiful city, mix of 3 cultures, pre-inca, inca, spanish. Now with the the tourists coming from all over the world, you meet very interesting people there. The scenery is really beautiful, the arquitecture gorgeous, the customs, and of course, you cannot miss Machu Picchu! The inca abandoned city. The first day, just take it easy, so that you are not affected by the altitude, but he next day, you body has become adjusted to it, you can go on sighteseeings, walking expeditions, etc. Really worth going, at least once in your life time. There is the Inca Trail for the young, healthy, strong and adventurous. Go, you will not regret it!
