Martin Luther King and Ray Charles: Georgia is so rich to have them both as part of their history, and Atlanta reflects that and so much more.
Nights at Chastain Park are priceless. The candles in the tables, the open air, the people singing along… It almost feels like a small town within the metropolis.
Perhaps my favorite part of Atlanta is my workplace. I work at The Concourse (King & Queen) buildings. They are modeled after chess pieces. That’s a must see if you visit Atlanta.
People touring the US don’t always think of Atlanta as a major destination, and I often wonder why. I hope you’ll wonder too and in the end, just say why not? :)
