As a Wonder Cone… I decided to visit Gandhi’s ashram. It was surreal to know that at one point, Gandhi’s himself walked the same hallways that I visited. It was a moving experience.

Being that I am a Travel/Wonder Cone…people at the security gate of the Taj Mahal just didn’t understand why I wanted to enter. Prior to my arrival at the Taj…I already roamed the majority of Northern India. I was allowed entry everywhere else. The security at the Taj patted me down from cone tip to cone bottom.
I’m sad to say that they thought I would be some sort of security threat. :( I never got to go inside the Taj Mahal gates. However, my travel companions were allowed inside, while I spent the entire time in some dark locker. This is a TRUE story. No joke. I was not allowed inside the Taj Majal. But my travel companions told me it’s worth visiting and I agree! Just beware of security.

Make sure to bring plenty of water on the hike to stay hydrated. Also, make sure to wear very comfortable close-toed shoes.

If one happens to stumble upon this little quaint region of Nepal, then consider going to the birthplace of Lord Buddha himself. It’s a preserved archaeological gem.
