also, order more than one Pasteis de Belem. They are unbelievably tasty.

Stunning yet stark

This country is the most action packed place on earth. It is like 20 countries all compressed into a tiny area. The food is amazing and there is an incredible diversity like nowhere else on earth.

The people may seem abrupt at first, but that is only on the surface.

I love Israel and will definitely return someday soon

Big Bend is one of the most awe inspiring places on earth. I spent stayed in the lodge there which is a classic retro building.

The colours and the landscape is completely mind boggling.

I would definitely recommend going there. I would also advise taking a car, as it is HUGE.

A truly amazing and inspiring place. You must see Petra at least once in your life.

If you want to challenge every concept that you have, go to Tokyo. It is the most mindblowing city on earth

I lived in the Byron Bay area for 12 years. It truly has something for everyone.

Keep in mind that most people only stop in Byron Bay itself, whereas the surrounding area is where most of the beatiful spots are located.

I strongly recommend renting a car as there is virtually no public transport. If you love pristine beaches, drive to Broken Head and turn down Seven Mile Beach Rd. There are incredible beaches located there with rainforest going all the way down to the shore.

Also, drive out to Minyon Falls, Wanganui or Protestors Falls to walk through the most amazing forests.

If, however, you want to dine, drink and party, Byron Bay is the place to be.
