If I were to visit just one place in Berlin, it would be Unter den Linden and more specificaly Museumsinsel.
One museum… probably Pergamon.

Storybook village. Well worth a detour

The essence of Ghent – concentrated in a mustard. This tiny spice shop is well worth a visit. Unspoiled. It very much looks like it has remained the same since 1790.

I would otherwise NEVER recommand an airport as a main feature when visiting a country. But this is Changi. A town on its own. Well… No old stones there…it’s merely a great shopping mall – as is (to my opinion) Singapore.

Amazing quiet resort. Much underrated. Well maintained Napoleon 3rd architecture. Imported tropical vegetation.

Paradise on Earth

Maybe not a prime vacation resort (!!!) but worth a few miles detour to Parc Bandelier. Breathtaking views over the Rio Grande.

Sunset and opera? Clever interpretes, great livrets. What more?

By far, the most beautiful desert I have seen… despite the small size. Truely out of this world
