Surrounded by beautiful National Parks and Forests, I was here for 10 minutes before some hippies pulled up next to me on the curb and offered me their leftover Chinese food.

Then I spent a week on top of mountain.

I hate this place.

Very very very very very small town. I can’t say much about it because I spent most of my time way way way out in the woods in Horseshoe Beach. We had a Cross City address, but we technically lived in Horseshoe Beach.

A very small town just north of Montgomery, that should be burned straight to the ground.

I would be happy if the ground opened up and the entire state was sucked into the deepest pit of hell. =)

This is where I was born, and I loved it. I remember Valentines Day and Mothers Day parties at Crest Lake Park, where we’d write on the sidewalk in chalk. I only lived about a block away on Laura St. I want to go back and see if my old house still exists. My best friends name was Jessica Stohr (sp?) and her moms name was Sarah. I remember visiting the beach every weekend, and this big ugly orangey brown stucco hotel that was right there on the beach. I remember the lesbians who lived across the street, one of them was a photographer named Chris and I still have some beautiful pictures she took of me. And my big brother would always visit them and they bought him toys. Then they moved to Colorado.

When I lived here, my adopted brother was sent away to a boys home. I never saw him again.

My little sister was born here in 1992. When we lived here our house was broken into five times!!

I like to refer to the entire Northern Virginia area as the Capital of Suburbia. There’s nothing to do except go to the mall. Everyone looks the same, dresses the same, drives the same, and decorates the same.
