Husband and I spent 2 weeks in Costa Rica in January. We were mostly at a small orchard near San Isidro de El General, with day trips to the Pacific coast for snorkling/dolphin watching, zip lines, etc.

We also spent a day in San Jose (the zoo is quite nice), and did a day trip to Arenal Volcano (didn’t see any lava, but the hike through the rainforest park with the hanging bridges the next morning was worth the trip!)

I absolutely loved Costa Rica, and I want to go back!

In 9 days I’ll be flying down to Cuba! I’m going down for a week to visit my husband, who’s working at a mine there. It should be an experience… I’m going to be deep in the “real” Cuba, a long way away from the tourist traps.

I actually want to go because I’d like to see the Kanarra Creek slot canyon… saw picures of it here: Kanarra and it caught my attention

Grew up here, and will shortly be moving back here. :) One of the most beautiful cities in Canada!

My husband just recently started working in Cuba. So I’m looking forward to going down there one of these days and seeing where he is when he’s away.

I LOVE driving through the mountains! The scenery in BC is just amazing… my family made the trip from Saskatoon to Vancover probably 8 times, and it was always a great experience.

Spent a few weeks in Columbus in ‘99 and 2000. The circumstances of my visit weren’t great, but the city seemed nice. The science center was pretty neat. Wouldn’t mind going back sometime… but I can think of a lot better places to go.
