How this place changed my life
I had so much fun here. The food was amazing — delicious sweet pork. You can rent a bicycle and go all over the island.
I hadn’t been on a bicycle in years, but it was incredibly fun, it changed my life. The island is so small, you can take off in any direction without worrying about getting lost.
Just watch out for the water buffalo(?) that are scattered about. I didn’t notice one at the side of the road until I was right on top of the rope tied to its nose ring! Luckily they are really laid back, and it didn’t react!
This island is a really great day trip from Ishigaki.
