The old city of Tallin is very beautiful and romantic. I was surprised of it cause I had imagined Estonia very differend. I would like to go back.

Czech Republic

Better learn some Czech..

We were having a seminar in Prague with Charles University and had been there for a week. It was last night and we were having a dinner in a restaurant in the outer Prague. We were waiting for a waiter to arrive and take our orders but when he had not came for a while my friend went to seek for a bathroom and told others to order if the waiter came. When she was away the waiter came and we told him her order. The thing is she had had an idea and had ordered her meal from the counter. So now she had two times the same meals coming. She went to fix this and came back and we waited until the food came. But.. It just kept coming until my friend had three times the same meal – with sidedishes and all! When the waiter had not understood English well, she had showed with her finger “Just one” but it seemed like he had understood it “one more time”! She could not return it so a girl, who had not ordered anything had a meal, one guy ate a few meals including the one he had ordered for himself and I had one side dish. I don’t know who ate the rest.. Luckyly Czech Republic is cheap and she did not have to spend the night washing dishes to pay for the food ;)

Great Barrier Reef

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I was a workingholidaymaker in Australia and was spending some time in Cairns. I had never wanted to go scuba diving and was quite intimitated with the idea of going under water several metres deep. Then I went white water rafting and got a free ticket to Fizroy Island, this paradise island an hour or two from Cairns. I don’t know what happened to me, but as I get off the ferry I walked straight into a dive shop and signed up for an introductory dive and good totally hooked! I was still scared when we were swimming in the sea and ready to dive but as soon as I was under water I relaxed and got immensed with the silent world there. It was amazing and I felt like one with all the creatures there. The same evening I came back to Cairns, signed up for a dive course on a live aboard ship on the Great Barrier Reef. Now I am an open water diver and ready to take it to dive master level. Well, got a bit off the topic, but this was my first time there and first time diving. Truely recommend it to everyone!
