I grew up in this average Texas town. In highschool, we hated it because “there was nothing to do.” Looking back, there was plenty I could have done, I just didn’t. Now that we have a child, we realize what a great place this is to raise kids. It’s a great family environment, and close enough to Austin for when you want a real “night on the town.”

We just moved here about three weeks ago, and I immediately fell in love with the area. It’s so beautiful and the people are so friendly, and they love our daughter! The culture here is so awesome. We’re having a blast.

We lived in Jacksonville for 2 years (04-06). I loved the feel of the beaches but more towards the city I hated the traffic. There’s a lot to do in the area for all kinds of people. We love the outdoors, and Hanna Park is just beautiful. It’s also close to a few National Parks which were fun to visit.

My husband and I were born and raised in Texas…. and honestly there is no place like it. It’s laid back and friendly, and there’s so much to see. I love Texas, and I’ve missed it ever since I moved away.
