This is my favorite museum ever

You can see plenty of crappy old furniture at the local Goodwill. No need to pay for it.

I went to high school at Leysin American School from 92-96. It’s a great town to ski, hike and mountain bike.

Rushmore is pretty neat. The real treasure is the Needles Highway. It’s really pretty. We went camping outside of the park for a weekend. I don’t remember the campground, but it was really nice and the people were great.

I went camping in Taos a few years back. It was pretty nice.

I lived here for 4.5 years. When I moved there I was single. When I left, I was married, I had a little boy and had bought and sold my first 2 houses. Cheyenne is a great place to visit and live.

I used to fly in here a lot when I was living in Wyoming. I would fly out here to visit Cabela’s. Also, if you are a pilot, consider buying an hour of flying time in Ed’s (the airport manager) Pitts S2C aerobatic biplane. Ed is a fantastic pilot and a great instructor. My wife bought me a lesson with him 2 years ago. I am sad that I live so far away now because I would be back in a heartbeat.

I have climbed Mt Katahdin twice. Make sure you dress for any condition. Last time we climbed, it was warm at the bottom and windy and cold at the top, in the middle of August. For a roundtrip climb, hike in through Chimney Pond (there are several ways to get there) and either go up Cathedral trail or across Knife’s Edge or vice versa. It’s a beautiful climb. On a clear day you can see all the way to the Atlantic and Mt Washington.

This is just a gigantic tax free shopping trip. Not much to see, although the drive through the Pyrenees is quite pretty. They are very different from the Alps.

Visit the confluence of the Russian and Kenai Rivers. It’s beautiful and the fishing is great!!
