My eldest brother lives on the Island and I just love visiting. It’s so beautiful and I adore the little bookshops and coffee klatches and such. Real small town charm, but the people are cosmopolitan. There are great places to hike and the air seems really clean. I could definitely live there.

Great place for the family. Kids can ride the automated coin rides. There’s also some great shopping nearby… and a wonderful candy store to satisfy your sweet tooth. I’m thinking of the one off San Vicente… that’s the only one I think. San Vicente and like 26th I’m pretty sure.

Great. Easy access. Always something interesting and irreverent.

Great thing about Santa Monica pier on busy nights is that you’ll see all types of folks from all walks of life. I love to go have my picture taken in those old photo booths at the arcade. The skeetball is pretty cool, too. So classic.

GOD I love Santa Monica. Great bus system… you really would never have to drive if you retired here. The restaurants: Frito Misto, Pacific Dining Car. Farmer’s Market at the 3rd St. Promenade. It’s a glorious, glorious place. I miss her.

I really do love this place. Of course there’s some truth to all the stereotypes about L.A., but that’s just more reason that it’s endearing. I lived in LA for about 7 years… I miss it so much sometimes.

WHITE TAIL LODGE! Whoopee!

Take the tram unless you like to walk…. really far. Man, you could walk like 5 miles to baggage claim. I never liked this airport. Why can’t every airport be like LAX? Easy.

The coolest named roller coasters. THE SCREAM MACHINE! and THE MIND BENDER! Awesome.

They got rid of all the bars down there. Good riddance to bad rubish I say. The types that frequented those Buckhead bars were a bunch of non-entities anyway.
It’s all about Phipps Plaza: Barney’s Co-op, Saks. Pick up a pair of Tods and catch a movie. You deserve it.
