I can’t believe I didn’t write this in my previous entry….

I went down to Seattle for the sole purpose of seeing Kenny Chesney live in concert. For the two days leading up to it, my mom and I went to the Super Mall, and btw, it’s the best mall I’ve been to…EVER! Liz Claibourne was my favorite store, but everything was so great there! Also, was totally in love with the 24 hour Wal-Mart, here they’re only open till 11 and they’re usually so busy that you just give up after you walk in. Lame I know, but I was born to shop, and am totally a Wally Mall girl sometimes.

So KC was fantastic, I took about 60 pictures….my first time with a didgital camera so I had no clue it would eat the batteries that fast! I called Robert when ‘she thinks my tractor’s sexy’ came on, and let it record on his voice mail. he was down in Phoenix at the time. Funny that we both went down to the states at the same time.

Anyways, since then I have seen Kenny when he came to Calgary for the Stampede concert. The show was not as good as the one in Tacoma, but it was still great. I still remember being giddy like a crazy person when Kenny came out, I was so in the moment at the first concert. I took in every word and every note and sound.

Going to experience that was one of the greatest idead I’ve ever come up with, it made me so happy. I loved it. I wish I could have spent more time down there, it seemed like there was quite a bit more that I would want to do.

Las Vegas, Nevada

It was so much fun!

My dad and I flew down for four days for my birthday, and my cousin’s wedding. I gambled all of $10 and crammed my day full of tourist attractions and shopping.

I was a touch dissapointed that they didn’t have Dr. Pepper in any of the casinos, cause it tastes so much better down there. Finally on the last day, I found a place just below the casino in our hotel that had it…grrr. Lol.

Over all, I took about 600 pictures in 4 days, and had a blast. My feet killed me from all of the walking and the horrible choice of shoes I took for comfort, but they sure looked great! If I ever go back, I will be sure to stay on Freemont Street in the ‘old’ Vegas. Things were allot more easy going down there and seemed more fun!

Oh yeah, and I only saw one Elvis, what’s with that? He was standing outside of Denny’s.
