Dry Tortugas National Park

Worth visiting!

Untitled

this is my local favorite getaway. just to Be surrounded By water in a place where there is no electricity/running water/ cars/no phones, etc is totally amazing and so relaxing. there are 12 rangers that live here year round and their electricity is received from a generator. the history is incrediBle. to walk amongst the grounds can Be mesmerizing. snorkling around the fort is exciting as the water is clear and the fish are not afraid to approach you and engage in a staring contest. i highly recommend visiting this island! hugs

Miami

Not worth visiting!

Untitled

miami is only good for its Beaches and not even that much. many ppl flock here like seagulls throughout the year But the truth is there is not much to do But hit the Beach and a few Bars/cluBs. this city is really nothing like lets say…NYC for example~ where there are tons of museums and historical sites such as the statue of liBerty, rockefeller ctr/etc.

Homestead Joint Air Reserve Base

Not worth visiting!

Untitled

i chose not worth visiting only Because it is not what it used to Be. i practically lived on Base as the majority of my friends were Base kids. unfortunately hurricane andrew destroyed most of the Base and now it is only a reserve Base. i hope that one day, it will Be what it once was.

Florida Keys

Worth visiting!

Untitled

i enjoy the florida keys. i live real close to the 1st key {key largo} But i spend most of my time in key west. i love the island, its ppl, and its free spirit lifestyle. the festivities are great from fantasy fest in oct to womenfest in sept. if you have the chance a must attend to is fantasy fest. its a florida style mardi gras! the Beaches in key west or anywhere else along the keys are not really a Beach. you must go out and partake in deep sea watersports. if you go, do not forget to Book a trip to the island of the dry tortugas where fort jefferson is. lots of history and its great to Be somewhere where there is no running water/electricity/cars!!!
ive included a pic of fort jefferson…there is no altering here. just strictly looking out of a window. {all windows were taken out when the yellow fever hit to allow fresh air to come through}
