House On The Rock, Spring Green
Definitely not worth seeing!
The House on the Rock is hands down, the most overrated tourist attraction I’ve ever seen. A complete waste of my money ($68 for two adults and one child). I have never been so disappointed in a tourist attraction in my entire life and I’ve been all over the United States!
I cannot believe I drove 350 miles round trip to spend an afternoon at this garage sale show. A huge disappointment was not being able to actually see “the house on the rock” unless you viewed it from a postcard or a a brochure.
The only thing that saved the trip was stopping at Cave of the Mounds. Now there is an attraction worth the money!
I will not recommend this to anyone and if I so much as hear a whisper of someone attending will strongly suggest they not go. I actually came out of the attraction and immediately washed my hands because the place just felt dirty.
