GET A DAY PASS!!! It costs £5.10 for a day pass that will let you travel all over with the tube and all over on the busses. it will save your feet and your time:)

Dont spend all your time hustling from tourist spot to tourist spot. You should definately see them all, but dont forget to savor the journeys in between. Also try and save one day to wander lazily about st james, kensington, or hyde park and watch london walk by as you have a picnic. Grab some wonderful english cheeses, fresh bread, ripe fruit, maybe some salami and a bottle of wine and just find a comfortable spot to people watch. you will see so much and give your weary feet a well needed break :)

February during the biggest snow storm in NY history. Central Park was covered in 2 feet of snow and it was amazing. The only thing i regret is not going out dancing. My travel partner wasnt into the club scene so i missed it but i will be back soon to party harty

I was visiting my family on the gulf coast right after Katrina hit. It was devestating the destruction was everywhere,but the people kept smiling. the family and community all rallied together and it was the most uplifting thing to be around. The gulf is bouncing back and the culture and hospitality there cant be beat. Great food, sweet people, beautiful natural gifts, and full of art and culture. Ocean Springs is an amazing little artists town that is know for its pottery and the artist walter anderson. Not to be missed if you are in that part of the world.

I have lived all over california and no place is like it. Amazing beaches beautiful people and wonderful weather. I have lived here for the last 3 years and i swear it has made me a better person. It is uber expensive to live here but its worth it if you like to be 5 minutes from the beach 10 minutes from great hiking 20 minutes from downtown and an hour away from LA (which is about as close as i ever want to live to LA again)If you are thinking about going to college here stop thinking and just come its wonderful!
