I want to go to Venice & Bologna. I’ve an avid reader & I’ve read at least a dozen books set in Venice.

Why I want to go to this place — 9 months ago
I want to go to Russia because it just seems like a cold & sad place…I’d like to be proven wrong there! The language is hard to learn and there are not many books in the local libraries on learning it.
I just wonder why there is a lack of interest. Is the place just as dull as dirt or is this icy-ness left over from the bad relationship with Russia during the Cold War?
I want to see the palace! I want to speak words that feel strange on my tongue! I want to explore at random.
