I went to Mexico for the first time over Thanksgiving Break. My boyfriend and I were in San Diego, CA visiting his dad when we decided to just drive down for the day. We went to Tijuana, Puerto Nuevo and Rosarito. Puerto Nuevo is gorgeous. We ate this amazing restaurant right by the ocean. It’s not the biggest of the “shopping” areas, but you can find really great stuff on about 3 streets. Rosarito had a huge shopping area, and it’s really eclectic and fun. Tijuana was crazy. We didn’t get out and do any walking around, but we drove through downtown (after we missed the exit to San Diego). The Revolucion Center is a site to see, and you have people coming up to your car to try to sell you things. I’d like to go back when I can spend more time there. Overall, it was a fun time. I’d recommend it.
