Minnesota, United States

Minnesota I’ve lived in for most of my adult life, I will say that it’s a very nice state to live in, a lot of blue collar workers, grind it out type of mentality, but Minnesota Nice doesn’t always hold true. I lived in the South for 3 years before moving back to Minnesota and I learned that people here aren’t very open, we are reserved, not really easy to be social with everyone like the hospitality that is shown in southern states. Cold weather also can be pretty severe.

St. Paul, Minnesota

Untitled

If you go to St. Paul and you like Italian Food check out Yarusso Brothers off of Payne Ave. If you like hockey go to the Xcel Energy Center and watch a game. If you want to be social go hang out at any of the coffee shops along grand ave. St. Paul is a great city. There is a lot to do there and it’s a very open city meaning a lot of nice parks and people. Great working class city.

Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minneapolis such a culturally diverse city. I’ve been all over Minneapolis, Lived in South Minneapolis a lot of my life. Uptown is a great area for young alternative lifestyle type of people, who are into the music scene. South Minneapolis by Lake Nokomis is very nice around summer time, always baseball games going on around in that area. North Minneapolis is also very interesting, lot’s of crime and drugs, but very friendly people. Downtown Minneapolis is fun, from the target center to first avenue there is always a lot to do down there on the weekends. Very expensive to live downtown. A lot of downtown is ritzy and glamour, but be careful on the weekends a lot of criminals also looking for “fun”.
