Cuba, Central America And The Caribbean

Cuba Libre!

Havana, Las Terrazas, Santiago de Cuba, Guardelavaca. I highly recommend it. The friendly Cubans, the cigar smoke, the rum. Walking along the Malecon after dark, trekking through the forests in Pinar del Rio, salsa dancing in Santiago de Cuba, diving in Guardelavaca. Just arrange things through a good travel agent because this isn’t an easy place to be an independent traveller.

Amsterdam, Noord-Holland

Still true today ...

“What other place in the world could you choose where all of life’s comforts, and all novelties that man could want are so easy to obtain as here and where you can enjoy such a feeling of freedom.” Descartes 1628

Nepal, Asia

Go now

Nepal is really quiet at the moment because of the king seizing power. They need tourists so you’d be doing some good. Anyway, it’s a beautiful country with really good people and it’s a playground for the adventurous.
