I entertain fantasies of climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, but just going for the wildlife would be good enough.

I’ve been fascinated with this place ever since I saw a TV show about it. Definitely a side-trip that is a must.

I used to drive with my roommate to the co-op in Moscow every week when I was going to school in Pullman. I also came |_| this close to getting a tattoo at a studio there, but I chickened out at the last second.

I went as part of a school trip when I was in High School. We did the whirlwind tour of the various monuments and museums. My favorite bits were the Air and Space Museum and the capitol building. I’d love to go back and spend more time exploring the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.

I’ll admit, my main motivation for going to Patagonia is getting up close and personal with some penguins.

I still have quite a bit of (distant) family scattered around Norway some of whom have extended invitations to their American kin. I would love to take them up on their offer.

1. Seeing Thornetta Davis (and numerous other amazing local musicians) live.
2. Pizza Papalis
3. Detroit Art Museum
4. Driving out to the cider mills in late October to buy a giant pumpkin and drink hot cider with fresh donuts.

What I don’t miss:

My sister just got back from 10 days on Kaua’i. Her pictures are amazing and I’m desperately jealous. I can’t wait to go myself.

The perfect place for a neo-hippy/geek/vegan/liberal like myself. I’d love to live here if it wasn’t so bloody expensive.

If I can get the money together for airfare, I may do this next summer.
