Have somebody at your hotel find you a good taxi driver… you can get one for the whole day for really cheap, and their service and knowledge is priceless. Our driver, Mr. Pon, took us everywhere and gave us advice to help keep us safe… (though be advised that taxi drivers DO get kick-backs from many of the places they take you to on their own suggestion… but many times they are really good places. This practice subsidizes their measly incomes, so don’t get too upset about it unless they are insistent and rude about taking you somewhere…)

I’ve never enjoyed zoos and animal attractions the way I did in Singapore… they are a MUST if you are there.

For the adventurous bird lover there is even an hour long “Be a Falconer” program with the birds of prey at Jurong Bird Park… I took part and LOVED it! (additional cost applies).

I send everyone who visits The City to this place… and everyone who takes the suggestion loves it. Every time I suggest it to someone I want to go take a trip to the Bay Area… lol… but 7 hours is a bit far to drive for pizza.

I live a few hours from Six Flags Magic Mountain, so most of the rides at this park didn’t impress me much… but Spiderman was AWESOME…
