Had a great afternoon exploring Cannery Row and eating at the Fish Hopper. Great clam chowder and crab cake and shrimp!

We were visiting a friend who lives there. Very cute downtown area with great coffeehouses!

The fog was beginning to roll in, and that just made the mood even better. It is beautiful! And I had some great seafood with friends at a restaurant there that has a whale skull, and some enormous anchors outside. Have to try and remember the name.

The redwoods are sooooooooo tall and beautiful! And the place feels very serene.

We were driving to Armstrong Woods and stopped in Guerneville for gas and coffee. Went to a sweet little coffee house with great coffee and had the best piece of apple pie drizzled with a little carmel on top….sooooooooooooo good!

I also loved that there was a combo sushi and burger joint in town. :)

It is just incredibly beautiful.

We were driving down 101 with the windows down and were breathing in the lovely smell of garlic! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! And I have to say that we had some amazingly good hot garlic sauce from The Pepper Plantation. Delicious!

My sweetie and I spent the last afternoon of our recent vacation in Monterey. It was beautiful! We ate a late lunch at the Fish Hopper, sitting on the heated patio, enjoying one another’s company and the incredibly lovely view of the bay. sigh. It is one of those days that I will remember with so much happiness!

I would like to walk on the beach, lay on the beach, eat fresh seafood, drink margaritas and good beer. Mostly I would like to explore and relax. And enjoy being by the ocean.

I thought I might be going at the end of this month, but now it looks like it has been postponed until next year. :(
