There really isn’t anything in Fort Leavenworth; you’re better off in actual Leavenworth (where I live), to find anything to do.

As for activites…

There are some shitty white trash bars, a church coffeehouse, a whole bunch of churches, some church groups, a old theatre, the riverfront… you get my point. Leavenworth is nothing but a bunch of rednecks.

The only place worth visiting (of you’re into that sort of thing), is Groundwork Coffeehouse. They have the best environment for teens and adults alike. Live local alternative music (mostly hardcore now days). I suppose it’s more fun for me and my friends because we know most of the people in the bands.

The only other interesting thing to see in Leavenworth is the teenagers like me who are general menaces to soceity. We wreak havoc wherever it’s to be had.

Ummm…

There’s some graffiti in some of the alleys downtown?

That’s it.

If you’re in the younger age group, don’t spend more than 3 or 4 days there. It gets a bit boring, mostly because there isn’t really any night life that I saw. The scenery is absolutely beautiful, though.

I went to a dried flower place and got some red amaranth that I still hang in my room, and I went to Pamida and got some panties; those were the only things besides experience and quality time with my loved ones that I got out of it.

There is a thrift store for those of the more eccentric nature, and a really great pizza place too.

That’s really all I have to say about it.
