Hot Springs, Arkansas

I'm here right now! by BizzyGirl35

I am visiting my sister as I hoped I would. I am glad I came, and would definitely come back. What a great spa city! The steamy water comes right out of the ground, and most of the old bathhouses on bathhouse row are no longer in operation, but open to the public for tours.

I'm a sucker for Shakespeare! by BizzyGirl35

I hope one day I find someone who would love to visit this place and see some top notch Shakespeare as much as I would!

Memphis, Tennessee

Guns, Graceland and BBQ by BizzyGirl35

If you are looking for a shooting range, this is the State for you! Everyone has the right (and is encouraged to) bear arms if they wish. If you happen to find yourself in Memphis, and looking for somewhere to eat after touring Graceland, go to Rendezvous. Around the corner from the Peabody Hotel, this subterranean hideaway features the best barbeque you have EVER tasted! Served on paper plates in plastic baskets, the pulled pork shoulder is cooked to perfection and smothered in their own secret BBQ sauce. Take some home, and try the dry seasoning as well. Nirvana for the meat lover!!! Also, don’t miss the Music Walk of Fame!

Marion, Arkansas

0 people want to go here... by BizzyGirl35

…and I completely understand why! Trailer parks with bizarre, scary people living in them, flat, boring landscapes, crime galore and the KKK alive and well to boot! The fact that it is a stone’s throw from Memphis is the ONLY thing this armpit of the bible belt has going for it.

Just really wanna go by BizzyGirl35

I’d like to check out Gastown and see the sights this city has to offer. It seems just amazing, and I’ve heard great things about it.

Blarney Castle, Cork

I wanna kiss the stone! by BizzyGirl35

My mum comes from County Cork, and we have visited the site when I was very young, so I don’t remember much about it, other than that it was GREEN. I would like to go back and soak in the culture, see the old castle and kiss that infamous stone!

World Trade Center Complex, Financial District

Very, very sad by BizzyGirl35

I was there about a month after 9-11. There were people on the streets selling posters of the Twin Towers. Shameful how low people can go to make a buck or two. The area was secured for about one or two city blocks around the zone, and if you lived in that area you needed a special pass to get in. At the time I went it was still very fresh, and the acrid smell of jet fuel lingered in the air. Debris from the wreck still fluttered about the streets. Memorial wishes were posted in every available spot. I have no idea what it looks like now, but at the time I was there it was not a nice place to be.

Lazy summer fun by BizzyGirl35

My father has a summer home nestled in a private, wooded, gated community in the Poconos. We often go there for a weekend sojourn to just get away from it all. There is not a single clock in the house, and we don’t need our watches because we don’t give the time a second thought!

New York City, New York State

Way cool place to be! by BizzyGirl35

At the risk of sounding cliché, I love New York!!! Great shopping, great shows and sights to see, awesome restaurants! I recommend touring the city on motorbike! There’s nothing like zooming through the Lincoln Tunnel, and you can get around faster because you can fit between cars and negotiate pedestrians easier (and there’s always LOTS of those, and they like to jump in front of moving vehicles).
