The whole Smithsonian experience is an incredible educational exersice. Take your time, pace yourself and do some research before you go, i.e. if you going to the Aeronautics museum, plan the whole day there and read up on air & space. Do the same for the other museums.
A week in DC should do it … go to M street to wind down at night :-)
It is the capital of tacky lovers paradise … might as well go to Vegas.
over 5 years agoPeople use gravel for their “garden”. It’s dry, it’s hot, it’s bare, there is nothing to do .. yet, it beats Ciudad Juarez “next door” … I’m always glad to be back on “this side” everytime I go.
I do love the steaks and the football size salad bar at Cattle Baron’s, and even if it is 115 degrees outside, you won’t sweat a drop.
