Skycroft Conference Center, Middletown

Kairos Gathering

I visited Skycroft for Kairos, a gathering of pastors, church-planters, and ministry leaders. We had a wonderful time, the food was pretty good, the gym was nice, and the Appalachian Trail was nearby.

Ohio, United States

Untitled

I visited Dayton for a certification for Making it Count. Didn’t get to see much of the city, aside from the airport and the Crowne Plaza hotel, but I enjoyed my time there…even in the snow.

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Emergent Gathering

Just got back from a gathering of friends near Santa Fe, NM. I was very impressed with the decor and atmosphere of the city. Lots of art galleries. Beautiful mountain scenery. We ate at La Choza which was excellent Mexican food. We also saw Gerry, a brilliant Celtic musician @ Backroads Pizza on 2nd St, and a great open mic night at Evangelo’s. Finally, I was very impressed with the local Santa Fe Brew, trying both the Pale Ale and the Nut Brown. I’d highly recommend Santa Fe for a great, eclectic get-a-way location.
