Wonderful place to go. I was on the Island of Oahu. Lots of neat things to see. Don’t miss Hanauma Bay,Polynesian Cultural Center,Wiameia Falls,Diamond Head,Pearl Harbor, and the beaches.

over 7 years agoI’ve lived here all my life, I do not recognize the park that picture is taken from. Our city parks are beautiful and in excellent shape. Grays Lake is a very popular spot for everyone. Easter Lake is great for fishing, swimming and for going on picnic’s. We have a great Science Center with an IMAX theater. Go to the Historical building right by our State Capital and learn all about Iowa. Admission is free:-) On the west side of town is Living History Farms where you hop on a wagon and go visit different farms from different time periods. The Wells Fargo Arena is brand new and promises to bring lots of excitement to our beautiful city. Des Moines isn’t as big as Chicago or L.A. but to us that’s a good thing. We can breathe in our city.
