Went here and thought the weather was brilliant. I soon learnt how to look out of the window and see what time it was going to start raining at. Seriously, you can tell just by looking at the sky, I was rarely off by more than half an hour! Scorching hot weather in the mornings, heavy rain in the afternoon, and hot and humid weather at night. We took jackets with us to wear when we went inside because the air conditioning was so cold. lol. Great though!

I absolutely loved it here! My brother too because everyone was really friendly and had no qualms about talking to the strange little british boy who wouldn’t shut up. He even managed to have a good natured arguement with a security guard, who was more than triple his size, about what was better rugby or american football.

I can’t wait for September! I’m going to NYC and Niagra falls with my mum before I start Uni! Yippee!

I’ve been to Germany three times now (not counting when I was born because I don’t remember that!) First time I don’t think it was worth it because it was a school exchange and I didn’t speak like any German and my host family didnt speak English. I hated it and I got well homesick. Second time was brilliant. It was 5 years later (Last summer) and I spent a month at a language school in Berlin. I had a fantastic time and my German improved dramatically. Last time I went was a month and a half ago and I was backpacking though North-West Germany with my dad and brother, visiting all of the old British Barracks that my dad was posted at and the hospital where I was born. Interesting enough I suppose but the best bit was the backpacker hostels (especially the one in Muenster) they were so much fun! You have to see the Carnival it started on the 23rd of Feb this year! Brilliant! Small pubs are great, the people are really friendly and they put up with my dad’s dodgy german (he learnt it all in pubs so I’ll let you imagine what it sounds like).

Oh and we got a ride in a police car, that was brilliant. We had asked them for directions earlier and then they saw us walking so the stopped on a dual-carriageway and reversed back and gave us a ride, although I think they broke just about every traffic law. There was a football match on too and two opposing teams met at the train station but there was no trouble because the police knew they were going to meet and were there in riot gear with really scary dogs. It was so kool. Everyone should go to Germany at least once! My dad and old geography teacher say that the Oktoberfest in Munich is awesome and definately worth visiting if you like beer.

Been here loads. Weather is always good and the people are friendly. The islands are great too, loads to see. Went on a jeep safari once, that was loadsa fun!

France is kool enough. I went with my school, when I was 11. Seeing the trenches and no mans land was interesting. I’ve heard Paris is good but we couldn’t go because there was a big strike on. The eiffel tower is good too… so many steps though! Good view.

I love this country! Maybe I’m biased because my family on my dad’s side is scottish, Anyway, you have to visit the highland games – they are brilliant! Abolutely brilliant! I’ve never had so much fun in my life! There was a cafe next to the back entrance, where we had breakfast and luch every day because it was so friendly and well priced. Oh and contrary to popular belief about scottish weather, the weather was gorgeous for most of the weekend – just a little bit of rain one afternoon.
